Founded in 1910, Mount Royal University is celebrating 100 years of academic excellence and a century of dedication to the success of its students.
Smaller classes; highly qualified faculty who know students by name; personalized student support services — all have been distinctive elements of the Mount Royal experience over the past 10 decades, and our single-minded dedication to premier undergraduate education builds on this legacy.
Mount Royal offers more than 60 degree, applied degree, diploma and certificate programs through seven faculties. For more than 13,000 credit students each year, Mount Royal’s programs combine liberal and applied studies to provide individual fulfillment, opportunities for further studies and employment to its graduates.
More than 1,620 tenured and tenure track faculty from every discipline share a passion for teaching that is informed by leading-edge scholarship. The Faculty of Teaching and Learning — unique in Canada — also enables faculty to conduct research into successful student learning and effective teaching, and to enrich their own teaching skills.
